STAUROVSKY PHILOSOPHY
To be good at your craft, you need to know how and why success happens. I explain why I want you to do things, so you understand the reason for your success and failure, which makes self-correction so much easier.
When we are done your child will have the technique to be as good as his mind and God will allow.
Magnus started with SK in 5th grade. He went on to make the 2021 Kohl's High School Season All-American Team.
Dalton graduated in 2018 from Bishop Kelly High School. He was 9-11 off the ground as a senior in high school and scored 47-48 extra points on the All-State Team.
Jonah started with SK in 2020 as a freshman at Victory High School. He was named special teams player of the year on his team and second-team all-conference as a freshman
Out of Coweta High School in 2021, Brody started with SK as a 3 star and turned into a 4 ½ star and is rated 61st by Kohls.
Consulted and worked with Ben when he was 60% at Oklahoma state. His career ended up at 80% with OSU.
Luke took a lesson as a senior at Metro Christian. He is the only person I never had to help. I just said, "keep doing what you are doing!" That takes a lot from a coach..
SK was Tres's first Coach and coached him all through high school. He is now on the NFL Washington Football Team as a punter.
SK Coached these brothers at Holland Hall during their High School years. They are now at Oklahoma university and both are All-Americans.
My career started as a junior at Bishop Kelley High School where I am a Hall of Fame member and the only person to have their jersey number retired in any sport.
My college career began as a walk-on at the University of Tulsa in 1981. That season as a freshman I set a school record for extra points.. I ended up with 4 of the top 10 longest field goals and attempted a 69-yard field goal in a game (just short). I was the career point leader when my career ended in 1985. I still am the current all-time career field goal leader at The University of Tulsa with 53.
I was rated the 4th best kicker coming out of college in 1985 by Mel Kiper and Joel Bushbaum and lasted the longest in the N.F.L. for my class of kickers.
My professional career was one of perseverance. I had many early disappointments with try outs but because of hard work and dedication I ended up with a very nice tenure in the N.F.L. 1987 The Saint Louis Cardinals, 88'89'90'91' New England where I was special teams player of the year and 1992 with the New York Jets before my quad injury took it s toll.
